Synopsis

Wild Growth is my first solo show, and it also represents a state of life that I enjoy. Planting a seed without too much preconception or interference, letting it struggle, conflict, enjoy, and grow on its own.

 

This solo show is divided into two parts. The first part is about my wild growth on the comedy path, and the second part is about my wild growth during adolescence.

 

Many performers write a lengthy essay to share their creative insights and thoughts before their solo show. I initially had a lot to say too, but as an offline comedian, most of the audience coming to my show don't know me. Before watching my performance, you probably wouldn’t care much about my thoughts anyway.

 

To quote a line from Ma Da Shuai (a Chinese TV series): “Don’t talk too early; let’s see how it plays out in practice.”
