Musical Movements is a family-friendly multi-disciplinary concert performance presenting modern and contemporary classical works with a twist! Join us on our journey to explore the adventurous, unique soundworlds from composers of our time, and be fully immersed with interactive dance, animation and theatrics.
Featuring works by young local composers Darren Sng and Tan Yu Ting, renowned contemporary composers Aleksey Igudesman and Toru Takemitsu, as well as 20th century composers Bartok and Shostakovich, the musicians will be challenged with near-impossible feats of physical coordination and choreography, performed alongside original choreography and animation specially curated for this programme.
Audiences can enjoy this performance through standard seating on chairs or experience a more intimate performance with floor seating closer to the performance area. Interactive activities and booklets for children will be provided during intermission and after the concert.
