Synopsis

The Wait is over. After 4 years, Drum Tao returns to Singapore with a new production at the Esplanade Theatre, from March 24-26 in 2023 for four shows only.

This new production combines explosive Taiko drumming and innovative choreography in a show that showcases TAO’s extraordinary precision, energy, and stamina. With hundreds of sold-out shows and more than nine million spectators worldwide, TAO has proven that modern entertainment based on the timeless, traditional art of Japanese drumming have captivated audiences from all around the world and will continue to do so.

Let the beats of Drum Tao lights the way through this new production “THE LIGHT”. Through their powerful and athletic performance DRUM TAO will be expressing The Light of Hope, The Light of Healing, and The Light of Recovery to everyone around them. It is Tao’s hope that this new production "The Light" will cheer up people all over Japan, and the world!

Let your heart and soul be fully captivated by The Light that will overflow on the stage. "Never stop, keep moving forward!"

2023 also marks Drum Tao 30th Anniversary, so do join us in the celebration with THE LIGHT, brought to you by MCC and TAO ENTERTAINMENT, and managed by Sliding Doors Entertainment.
