Colonial Cousins- A Heritage Series

Colonial Cousins is an Indian music pair/ duo consisting of Hariharan and Leslie Lewis. They are known for blending Indian classical music with contemporary Western music. It was formed in the mid-1990s and released their debut album, "Colonial Cousins", in 1996. The album was a commercial success and won several awards, including the MTV Asia Viewer's Choice Award Colonial Cousins In the following years, Colonial Cousins released several more albums and singles, including "Crossover", "Aatma" and "Once More" Colonial Cousins have been credited with popularising Indian fusion music in India and abroad, and have been influential in the Indian music industry. They have been widely praised for their unique style and ability to blend different musical genres.
