In conjunction with PopLore, Vasantham Live returned to Kalaa Utsavam – Indian Festival of Arts 2022 on 18 Nov, live at Esplanade Theatre. This particular iteration encompassed the advent of the Indian pop scene, charting its development and capturing its diversity.
Anchoring this performance were artists Murali Krishnan, Shabir Tabare Alam and Yung Raja, who sang their popular original tunes from their independent albums. They were also flanked by a slew of emerging Vasantham artists such as Vasantham Star winner Suthasini and singer-songwriter Satthia, as well as celebrity hosts Jaynesh Isuran and Haleema Asman.
