Often composed of beautiful lyrics that convey emotional depth, the songs express the spirit, thoughts and feelings of its people.

About Wang Er Ni
Known as the "Lark of the Yellow Earth", Wang Er Ni is a national class-one performer of the Beijing Dance Drama & Opera Theatre and a director of the Chinese Musicians Association. As one of the leading figures in Northern Shaanxi folk music, she has touched the hearts of millions with her sweet singing voice and down-to-earth personality. Her unremitting efforts have allowed her to become the recipient of multiple awards and distinctions, which not only established her position at the forefront of Northern Shaanxi folk music but also contributed to her growth and transformation as a classical vocalist. A household name in her home country, Wang has performed for senior Chinese leaders on numerous occasions and she continues to represent China on the global stage at prestigious international events.
