SYNOPSIS
Saptha Stuthi is a garland of seven segments strung together as a traditional Bharatanatyam repertoire, in praise of seven deities of the Hindu pantheon, each segment an ode to a particular deity. The music is an amalgam of different compositions by great composers with their original scores. The concept and choreography are by renowned dancer/ choreographer Mahalakshmi from Chennai. Sixteen alumni of SIFAS have come together for the first time in this original production premiering at the Esplanade in Singapore.

Road closures around Esplanade for National Day Parade 2010 from 19 June to 9 August 2010
Please be advised that several roads around Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay will be closed during various times due to the National Day Parade (NDP) 2010 Combined Rehearsals (CR), which will be held every Saturday from 19 June to 7 August, as well as the NDP 2010 on 9 August.
Traffic is expected to be congested in this area and this may cause significant delays.
Patrons are strongly advised to pre-plan travelling routes, and take public transport for easy access to Esplanade. Please refer to the details of the road closures below, or visit NDP 2010 website at

For the enjoyment of all audience members, all events start promptly at the time printed on the ticket. Please be seated 15 minutes before the performance start-time. Entry for latecomers and re-admission will not be permitted until the first appropriate pause in the programme or intermission, if any.
Patrons are advised that with effect from 12 March 2004, an administrative fee of $5 per ticket is payable for all Replacement Tickets issued.
Please note the following conditions:
- Replacement Tickets can only be issued for performances with reserved seating
- No Replacement Ticket will be issued for general admission or 'free seating' performances.
- Replacement Tickets are issued subject to verification of patron's details against our transaction records.
- Esplanade reserves the right to not issue a Replacement Ticket if we are not able to verify the claim.
